Protein Chocolate Mousse

This recipe was inspired by Best Ever Chocolate Pudding from the book Raw Living by Kate Wood. I simply love the taste and aroma of chocolate. The recipe is transfigured for my own need of supplying more proteins to the body. If you are in lack of proteins and struggling to add it to your diet this is a mousse for you. I always intend to combine the best products out there on the market and the one best suited for my body needs.

Ingredients

  • 1 avocado and/ or 1 banana
  • 2 tbsp raw cacao powder
  • 1 scoop Raw Protein by Garden of Life
  • 1 drop of Immune Illume Hotberry essential oil by Living Libations
  • some water/coco water/apple juice
  • adjust the desired sweetness by adding chocolate flavour stevia drops by Sweet Leaf
  • add some freeze dried berry fruit powder to round out flavour (blueberry, camu camu…)

Preparation

Scoop out the flash from avocado and add all other ingredients into the blender together with some apple juice, coco water or just water except stevia drops which you can add afterwards to adjust the sweetness of the mousse. Indulge yourself!

I suggest to make this kind of  highly concentrated quality protein powdered mousse not more then twice per week. This kind of mousse satisfies 1/3 of my protein intake. The other 2/3 I take in the form of sprouted legumes and grains in salads, wraps…
